Select a public domain book and redesign the cover and interior, incorporating design principles to cater to a modern audience.

Solution: 

Before designing the cover, I researched the distinctive style of the 1920s and the publication year of The Great Gatsby. I embraced the elegant Art Deco aesthetic by featuring a detailed illustration of the iconic vehicle central to the story, paired with a Deco-inspired serif font. The color palette of gold accents and deep emerald green was chosen to evoke the Art Deco style.
